Feeding your Dog is not that difficult. But you have to know that no two Dogs are the same and every Dog has his own taste of Diet. Feeding your Dog is a matter of getting to know your Doggie. Much also depends on the Owner’s lifestyle.
Most Dogs keep eating more then one meal a day till they get the age of eighteen months to two years. Some people continue to feed their dog a small portion in the morning and a reduced evening meal. Do not give your dog too much Human Food. Sometimes it is difficult to let him eat his own food again.
An Adult (Stafford) Dog should have normal meat and biscuit diet. The meat can be raw or cooked. People prefer canned foods. It’s easy to store and you can serve it well. Tripe, Meat in sausage form like chicken, lamb, beef or rabbit are good options too. Wait with feeding tripe if your Doggie is less than six months of age. Meat should be combined with biscuit.
There is great collection of dry food too. Most people use them like biscuits. Keep in mind that dry food is often high in protein. You should feed your Doggie dry feed according to the instructions. Always remember that water must be available to your Doggie too.
Every Doggie has his own type of food. Some like dry food, other like canned food. Look at your Dog’s coat, his eyes and Look at how your Doggie holds its head, ears, and tail. Look at how your Doggie stands and moves.. Your Dog’s coat should shine, eyes should look bright and his motions should firm.
